Heating Systems

The information below should help you to determine what type of heating system you have or would like.

Combi Boiler

A Combi Boiler is connected directly to the mains and heats water on demand. This type of system saves space as there is no separate hot water cylinder and all parts are within the boiler.

Regular Boiler

A Regular Boiler, also known as a heat only system, is gravity fed usually from cold water tanks in the loft. A separate hot water cylinder is used to store hot water.

System Boiler

A system boiler is a sealed system that uses a tank to store hot water. It doesn’t require cold water storage tanks in the loft.

Unvented Cylinder (G3)

An unvented cylinder is used when there are several bathrooms or en-suites in a property. They can store up to 300 litres of hot water and supply it at mains pressure to multiple outlets simultaneously.
